Lexington Health and the Lexington Health Foundation have a mission to ensure that quality health care is available to meet the needs of our community.  The Lexington Health Foundation Health Care Scholarships and the Partners Program reflect the importance we place on investing in our community through educational opportunities that will equip our health care workforce to deliver the highest quality care to our patients and inspire the next generation of health care professionals.

The Partners Program is a fun and intensive three-week summer internship program open to all rising seniors from Lexington and Richland county school districts, including home school students. Participants complete rotations through a variety of clinical and non-clinical areas, learning about careers in health care including professional and allied health careers such as radiologic technology, physical therapy, surgical technology, nursing and administration. The application deadline is February 13, 2026. Due to the high volume of applicants, not all that apply will be selected to interview. Notifications will be sent by email.
